Existing Construction
Electronic Leak Detection for locating active leaks and/or performing Digiscan services yearly for preventative maintenance.
Solution 1: Digiscan
An SMT technician can use a handheld device to scan the secondary waterproof membrane inside your water feature. This Digiscan service finds pin-sized holes that can be repaired to prevent further leaks.
Solution 2: Embedded Moisture Sensors
SMT can install investigative monitoring sensors into the concrete deck from underneath.
These sensors are left in place to track moisture content within the concrete slab - observing trends over time to proactively locate leaks.
Solution 3: Leak Detection System
Moisture Detection Sensor Tape is applied to the underside of the concrete slab in a grid. This tape is monitored by electronics which are triggered by the presence of water - alerting the owner to a leak.
