SMT Research collaborated with high-achieving builders, architects, engineers, fabricators, and interior designers to construct the New Jubilee House located on Richards Street. The purpose of this new building is to replace the Old Jubilee House across the street, which was scheduled for demolition. With a new 12-story building in place, the 162 new affordable housing units for low-income residents and seniors can be utilized.
This newly built building will assist in fostering positive social outcomes and offers a range of amenities such as; a lounge, library, computer room, communal kitchen and a rooftop garden. Moreover, these spaces will provide enhanced programming and encourage friendships and connections between residents.
Specifically, SMT installed our Building Intelli Leak Detection System, which monitors the membrane of the roof. SMT also provided our DigiSCAN 360° Services for the validation of membrane integrity. These services will help keep the building healthy and intact for years to come.
